NEB releases Hearing Order to hear complaint by Crescent Point Resources Partnership regarding TEML Westspur Pipelines Limited

August 25, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta – National Energy Board

On 9 June 2017, the National Energy Board (Board) received a complaint pursuant to Part IV of the National Energy Board Act  and section 19 of the National Energy Board Rules of Practice and Procedure, 1995 regarding operational practices that are potentially inconsistent with the Westspur Tariff Rules and Regulations, and concerns regarding the potential for shipper information provided to TEML Westspur Pipelines Limited (TEML Westspur) to be disseminated and used by TEML Westspur’s parent and/or its affiliates (Complaint).

On 21 June 2017, the Board sought comments about the Complaint and the process to consider it. After receiving comments, the Board has decided to establish a public hearing process and has issued a Hearing Order [Filing A85646] that sets out the timetable of events.
