Main objective | The NEB’s Participant Funding Program (PFP) provides funding to facilitate the participation of the public in hearings with respect to new or abandonment projects for pipelines or powerlines. PFP was expanded in June 2015 to include Environmental Assessments of designated projects as per the CEAA 2012 Regulations Designating Physical Activities. The objective of this program is to provide modest funding to facilitate the participation of the public so that the public’s views are taken into consideration. The program is not intended to cover the full cost of expenses. |
