RESUME WORK NOTICE
IN THE MATTER OF THE NATIONAL ENERGY BOARD ACT,
FOLLOWING AN ORDER UNDER SECTION 51.1
The undersigned National Energy Board Inspection Officer hereby notifies
Westcoast Energy Inc., carrying on business as Spectra Energy Transmission (WEI)
that the hazardous or detrimental situation described in Order No. SLM-001-2017 has been remedied to the satisfaction of the Inspection Officer.
Therefore,
- Suspended work may resume, and/or
- X the measures specified in the order have been satisfied.
The officer has reviewed the information submitted by Westcoast pursuant to the measures specified in Order SLM-001-2017, and has determined that not all requirements were met. The documentation provided to meet the terms h) to r) do not confirm compliance to the management system requirements of the National Energy Board Onshore Pipeline Regulations for the construction of a pipeline. Therefore, this matter has been referred within the National Energy Board for additional follow-up.
